Electromechanical Technical Engineer

CERN · Geneva, Switzerland

About this role

High-temperature superconducting materials have interesting characteristics that make them suitable for future magnet applications. Come join CERN and take part in this exciting development. You will develop and implement electromechanical systems for the manufacture and assembly of high-temperature superconducting (HTS) magnets, as part of an ongoing research and development (R&D) programme. Your work will involve coil winding and assembly, instrumentation and tooling, bringing together mechanical, electrical and control technologies.
