Lifting Hands International is looking for motivated and compassionate General Program Volunteers to join our community center in Serres, Greece. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain experience working in a community-based NGO setting, build meaningful connections with community members, and contribute across our core psychosocial support and community programs. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. About Us Lifting Hands International operates a community center in Serres, a small city about an hour from Thessaloniki in Northern Greece. We work with a population of 1000+ refugees & asylum seekers at the local camps, providing regular aid distributions and a range of psychosocial support programs. Our community is made up of people from a wide range of nationalities, cultures, and backgrounds. Our Core Programs Volunteers can support one or more of our core programs depending on their interests, experience, and the needs of the team: Female Friendly Space (FFS) – A safe and welcoming space for women and girls, with activities focused on wellbeing, connection, skills, and community.
