Opportunity Type: Regular Summary: JOB SUMMARY HFHI's strategy for housing market systems and housing finance in Asia Pacific (AP) calls for an expanded role in market approaches to housing improvement for low-income communities. The Specialist will develop programming that expands Habitat's work with housing market systems in the Philippines. The position entails working with market actors, government, low income home owners, external consultants and the regional and global TCIS team. This position will be based in Manila, Philippines but with significant periods of time in the field and out of the office meeting with partners or conducting research. Candidate must be currently eligible to work in the Philippines without sponsorship. Key Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL DUTIES 1. Supports the housing market systems work using a market systems development approach in the Philippines, identifying and soliciting initiatives from various market actors in the housing market systems, building relationships and supporting facilitation activities to expand accessible, durable housing solutions for low-income Filipinos.
