Org. Setting and Reporting These positions are found in the Regional Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Bangkok and Pretoria. The incumbent reports to i) the UN Human Rights Regional Representative and ii) OHCHR’s Chief of the Sustainable Development Section, Geneva. *IMPORTANT NOTE: In the motivation letter of your application, please indicate the duty station in which you would be interested. Responsibilities Within delegated authority, the Human Rights Officer will have regional responsibility and will be responsible for the following duties: • Assists the work of OHCHR at the regional level and provides analysis and advice on policy, programming and capacity development in relation to human rights-based economic and social policies, development and advancing human rights and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. • Provides advice on integration of human rights into State and UN development policy and practice, as well as UN Common Country Analysis (CCA) and the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Frameworks (UNSDCF) as…
