Organizational Context a. Organizational Setting The post is located in the Innovation Impact Division in the IP for Innovators Department (IPID) of the IP and Innovation Ecosystems Sector (IES). IPID is responsible for establishing and developing frameworks, structures, and capacities to support innovators and creators in using intellectual property (IP) as a tool for sustainable growth and development, while the Division focuses on leveraging technology transfer, IP analytics, and commercialization to support its stakeholders. b. Purpose Statement The Director leads WIPO's work on the development of legal and policy frameworks, as well as technical assistance and services enabling innovators and creators to leverage IP for sustainable growth, focusing on technology transfer, IP analytics, and commercialization.
