Description : 1. SUMMARY The Defence Industry, Innovation and Armaments Division (D2IA) leads on the rapid development and delivery of cutting-edge and interoperable defence capabilities, working with innovation ecosystems and industry across the Alliance to meet NATO’s deterrence and defence needs. The Officer is responsible for developing policy papers, reports and briefing materials on areas related to capability development and delivery, creating a solid evidence basis for the papers to support Allied and leadership decision-making. They are responsible for developing and delivering initiatives related to capability development and delivery to enhance cooperation with partners, specifically Ukraine. The incumbent deputizes for and supports the Head of Section in their function. The incumbent might be asked to work outside normal office hours, when needed. 2.
