About this role
Main Responsibilities Support analysis and drafting on topics related to electricity markets, either for publication or for briefing senior officials/management. Process data sets for identifying trends and developments across international electricity markets. Present data in figures that can be used to demonstrate key trends and insights across electricity markets. Monitor and analyse international developments in electricity market reform. Collaborate with other divisions within the IEA and external organisations to optimise the performance of EMS/ESM as well as other parts of the IEA. Assist in the preparation of material needed to support broader IEA work, including supporting material for workshops, briefings, presentations, and related outputs. Ideal Candidate Profile Academic Background Achieved or close to achieving a university degree in a related field, such as economics, engineering, or policy. Professional Background Exposure to analysing electricity markets, preferably across more than one country. Knowledge of electricity systems and the technical, economic, and regulatory factors that shape electricity system outcomes. Knowledge of economic principles used in…
